Agricultural Engineer, graduated from the Federal University of Campina Grande (April/2008), has a master's degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from Iowa State University (USA, July/2010). In March of 2014, Mr. Mendes received a Doctor degree from the Department of Agricultural Engineering (DEA), Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). He works in the area of protected environments for animals and has experience in (1) instrumentation and monitoring of aerial emissions from poultry manure and (2) animal bioenergetics, (3) mitigation of emissions based on management of poultry systems and (4) use of the CFD tool to predict air motion patterns in animal barns.
